Supplies needed:
- red shirt ( at hobby lobby)
- red ribbon
- blue ribbon
- red tulle ( 2 rolls)
- blue tulle (2 rolls)
- t-shirt transfer paper for dark colors ( hobby lobby)
- scissors
- iron
- "thing 1" image found here http://laurenconrad.com/blog/2012/10/halloween-diy-thing-1-thing-2-costume/
- computer & printer (if you don't have iron image printed out)
- clip (for bow)
- tape measure or yard stick (to measure ribbon for waist)
- glue gun
Step 1: lay out the red ribbon measure the size of her waist.. Make sure to leave extra on each end to tie a bow.
Step 2: take a folder or magazine ( I used folder) like this
Then fold tulle around it from top to bottom it makes the perfect size. I folded the whole roll around cuz I wanted to make sure the tutu was full and fluffy. I did it with both colors. Take scissors and cut all pieces of tulle at the top then you will be left with the size pieces you are going to use.
Step 3: now take the ribbon that we measured with her waist measurements and tie it to a chair or something so you don't have to hold it.. I used my daughter little chair. Then I just tied slip knots around the ribbon pushing all pieces together in the middle.. Making sure I'm even leaving room on both sides.
Here it is tied to chair. So much easier theis way.

It's almost done I just have to tie the bow in front I like the bow in front because you can adjust it to fit how you want.. It should be to tight or to loose. ![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxHp4GYbJyCD9tXUgP2fcEuQ4MPv2VvZH7ZDerUV4R3X06RB6nD-XJJdoUR9VfuYNNm03b7DIrs3LStfcoQEEywcn-EXcaFFkYtzy4SBOOnEK8U_pqyyUsdVziVaVSmi5E9gx3i4ko-J6x/s640/blogger-image-2136426010.jpg)

Step 4: I took the red shirt
And took tags off laid it out while the iron was heating. I found a free printable on http://laurenconrad.com/blog/2012/10/halloween-diy-thing-1-thing-2-costume/
I printed it on iron on paper centered it how I wanted and ironed it on.. I went over it with the iron a few times.
Step 5: I made a white bow with white and blue ribbon with polka dots and added some red and blue tulle to it. Then glued a diamond in the middle.. It turned out so cute..!! Check out other thing I have made.
Here is my niece dress in the outfit on her way to school. She looked so cute..!!
Are you going to give it a try.?
